Hahei Beach
Cedar Shutters – Top Rolling 50kg Series
With the beach right at the doorstep this home has been designed to impress. Created by an award winning Architect, this masterpiece has been constructed to make the most of nearby Hahei Beach views.
Beautifully presented with natural materials and finishes, the three bedroom, two bathroom beach property is spacious and homely. The incorporation of modified Zebratti 50kg Hardware into the shutters supplied by Grandvue Joinery throughout the exterior of the home allows the property to be shaded from the harsh sun when needed. The shutters can also slide away to reveal the uninterrupted outdoor views onto the stunning sea and landscape.
Collaborated Design
The client requested a durable shutter system that would survive being right on the oceanfront. AES combined a tried and tested roller system, with a precision CNC machined frame to hold cedar slats. The champagne frost anodized perimeter frame was designed with seamless joins, that won’t corrode over time.
Safe and Sound
A unique integrated corner jointing system was developed, so in-house testing could verify computer simulations as to the strength of the joint.
Prototyping
A precision frame was required, so we utilised our vast experience in CNC machining to achieve tolerances of sub 100 micron, on various CNC machining centers in-house.
